These terms govern use of Chekkit's website and products. Enterprise customers may have a signed agreement that takes precedence where the two differ.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing chekkitapp.com or using any Chekkit product — ChekTrace, ChekIntel, or Chekkit MAS — you agree to these terms.
2. The services
Chekkit provides product authentication, serialization/traceability, and consumer engagement tools. Service levels and product-specific terms are set out in each customer's order form or master service agreement.
3. Accounts and responsibilities
Keep credentials confidential and information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account and for how you configure campaigns and rewards.
4. Acceptable use
No reverse engineering, no attempts to defeat authentication mechanisms, no use of the services to mislead consumers, and no unlawful or fraudulent campaigns.
5. Rewards and campaigns
Brands are responsible for the legality of their campaign mechanics and for funding rewards. Chekkit facilitates payout but is not the promoter of record.
6. Intellectual property
Chekkit retains all rights in the platform, software, and documentation. Customers retain rights in their data.
7. Data protection
Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy and, for enterprise customers, the applicable data processing agreement.
8. Warranties and liability
Services are provided with commercially reasonable skill and care. Except as required by law, liability is capped as set out in the applicable agreement.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts for breach, security risk, or legal requirement. Sections that by nature survive termination survive.
10. Governing law
Unless your agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the courts of Lagos State.
